Voxbound / Refund and withdrawal policy

Refund and withdrawal policy

What happens if you want your money back, and why the law treats an instant download differently from most online purchases.

Last updated 24 September 2026.

Short version: we don't offer refunds for a change of mind once you've received your licence key and download. If Voxbound is faulty, not fit for purpose or not as described, you're entitled to a fix or a refund regardless of this policy — see statutory rights below.

Your 14-day right to cancel, and why it ends at delivery

If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, the law normally gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason. For digital content that's supplied straight away, like Voxbound, that right ends as soon as delivery starts — but only because buying it counts as you asking us to begin delivering immediately, and as your confirming that you understand doing so means giving up the 14-day cancellation right for that purchase.

That's what happens when you buy Voxbound: your licence key and download are sent to you immediately after payment. Once that's happened, the 14-day cancellation window no longer applies to that purchase. If you'd rather keep the 14-day right and aren't in a hurry, email us at support@voxbound.app before completing your purchase, or before downloading if you've just bought it, and we'll look at cancelling the order instead.

What this means in practice

We don't give refunds because you've decided you don't want Voxbound any more, used it for one file and are finished with it, or changed your mind after downloading it. This is a deliberate choice, not an oversight: a licence that could be refunded after use would be free to use once and then return, which isn't fair to a one-time purchase priced the way Voxbound is.

When you're entitled to a refund regardless

None of the above takes away your legal rights as a consumer. If Voxbound is faulty, doesn't do what we say it does, or isn't fit for purpose, you're entitled to a fix or a refund under the consumer-protection law of the country where you live — in the UK, for example, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Email support@voxbound.app with what's gone wrong, and we'll work with you on a fix or, where that's the right outcome, a refund.

Purchases through Gumroad

Gumroad, as the merchant of record for the sale, processes the payment and has its own processes for handling refund requests, payment disputes and chargebacks; those run alongside, not instead of, the rights described above. Raising a payment dispute or chargeback with your card issuer, or a refund through Gumroad, may result in your licence key being deactivated, as described in the end-user licence agreement.

How to ask

Email support@voxbound.app with your order number (from your Gumroad receipt) and what you'd like us to do. We reply as quickly as we reasonably can.
